![]() They then travelled to the Wave Road, and find that their stalker was none other than Ophiuca. After Cathy leaves, Kurenai and Toru were being watched. She had cleared an ambush that headed for her, and she fell asleep after travelling the forest a bit. She appeared to be unconscious, with her tetsugen by her side, covered with blood. Kurenai was found in a forest by Toru Hyuuga and Cathy Smith. She was trained in the use of the tetsugen, the same weapon that was almost the death of her. After this, she was taken in by the woman, named Mochizuki Chiyome, after the actual 16th century ninja leader, to the Takeda Clan. Then, Kurenai started to move her fingers, looking to have survived the attack. Holding her in her arms, the woman looked worried about what happened to the girl. After some time has passed, a woman on horseback rides to the tree, and gets Kurenai down. She was dragged away from her home, and left to die by being hung from a tree branch by the iron wire, called a tetsugen. Kurenai tried to run away, but she was caught by a wire thrown around her neck by one of the ninja. Kurenai's father attempted to fight them, but was killed. Kurenai was living a normal life with her family in Japan, when suddenly, her home was attacked by a band of ninjas of the Black Lizard Clan. Like a lot of video game characters that are added to the forum character cast, she was brought to add on a bit to a character's story that stopped abruptly. We'll have more details on the game as they become available.Kurenai is the main character and player character from the 2005 video game, Red Ninja: End of Honor. ![]() Red Ninja: End of Honor is currently scheduled to be released in October. Though only the PlayStation 2 version was on display, the game had a cleaner look to it than it had when we've seen it in the past. Graphically, the game is looking a lot sharper these days than it did when it was first announced. They'll still be alive, and crying for help, but a few quick maneuvers will wipe these poor fellows up quite quickly. She can then jump off the other side of the rafter, essentially dragging the enemy up into the air. When a guard sees her and starts heading in her direction, she can wrap her weapon-the tetsugen-around the enemy's neck, feet, or torso. The sequence we were shown starts Kurenai up on top of a rafter. The game will also let you leave enemies hanging. We saw some of these sequences end with some very brutal-looking neck breaks. Thinking they're in for some loving from our ninja protagonist, they'll stumble over, leaving themselves open to attack. In short, you'll be able to lure some guards over by hiding around a corner, poking out, and whistling at them. ![]() The new facet of Red Ninja's gameplay that was shown at Vivendi's preshow event is Kurenai's seductive properties. After getting loose, she learned the ways of the ninja and now hunts her father's killers using the steel wire-known as a tetsugen-she was hung with to do most of her dirty work. As the game's story goes, she was strung up by a steel wire and left for dead when she was caught in a battle between feudal Japan's warring Oda and Takeda clans. Red Ninja: End of Honor is Vivendi Universal's upcoming stealth action game that stars Kurenai.
